What do I bring with me to my appointment?
Please bring the following insurance information:
- Your insurance card including your ID number and group number and
- Your drivers license or ID. We will make a photo copy of both.
- Please bring any outside films that might pertain to the scan being done. This will help the Radiologist in reading your scan.
Do you accept my insurance plan?
Advanced Imaging is committed to negotiating the best insurance plan coverage possible. Currently we accept the following plans:

Can Advanced Imaging file primary and secondary claims?
Yes, we can.
What if I don’t have insurance?
Advanced Imaging will give you an estimated cost of your exam. We would appreciate payment at time of service. However, we understand that at times this can be difficult. Our billing office can help you make payment arrangements.
Do I have to pay at the time of the service?

How can I pay for my scan?
We accept cash, checks, Visa, Discover and MasterCard.
Can I send results to more than one Physician?
Yes.
Do I have to have an order/prescription to have a study performed?
You have to have an order/prescription for all studies.
Can I receive copies of my report?
Yes
How long will it take to receive my results?
24 to 48 office hours
What does NPO mean?
Nothing by mouth. Not to eat or drink anything before exam.
What is the contrast for?
The oral contrast is used to highlight the bowel for a CT scan. IV contrast is used to highlight the organs and the vascular system. Using both together helps the radiologist to understand your anatomy.
Will the contrast have side effects like the prep for a colonoscopy? How does the contrast dye affect my body?
Oral contrast may act as a natural laxative if you do not keep hydrated after the exam.
IV contrast is filtered through our kidney and ends in the bladder.
How can you help me with claustrophobia?
There are many exams we can put patients in feet first. We have headphones to listen to music to aid in distracting the mind. We also supply sedation, only if patient has a driver.
What type of scans can be done at your facility?
We have a CT, 3T MRI and Ultrasound. We can image any anatomy.
