Advanced Imaging of Redding is a new, locally owned facility dedicated to providing the finest medical imaging in the north state in the most respectful and pleasant manner for each patient.

 

Opened in 2007 and featuring the most technically superior MRI, CT and Ultrasound, Advanced Imaging is defining a new quality standard for medical imaging in California’s northern counties. Committed to providing the most superior imaging technology, Advanced Imaging was the first facility in the north state to install a powerful and effective 3 Tesla MRI scanner.

 

Those who need imaging for neurologic, orthopedic, vascular, cancer or general medical and surgical conditions will receive individual attention quickly and comfortably from a team of healthcare professionals handpicked for their combination of compassion and technical ability.

 

Comprehensive CT, MRI and Ultrasound services are available, including CT imaging and angiography of all regions of the body, and MR imaging and angiography of all regions of the body, including breast MRI. All Studies are analyzed by fellowship trained, board certified radiologists.

 

Founded by Dr. Stephen T. Hecht, Advanced Imaging represents the culmination of many years of thought regarding the best way to provide the highest quality medical imaging in the most comfortable manner.

 

Dr. Hecht came to Redding after a career in academic medicine, having been a full professor of radiology at both UCSF and UC Davis.

 

He is delighted to have found a location where he can practice in an outstanding medical environment, located in a great community that is perfect for his family.
Board certified in diagnostic radiology, Dr. Hecht is the only physician in the north state who is a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology and who holds the American Board of Radiology’s Certificate of Added Qualification in Neuroradiology.

 

Dr. Hecht is qualified to interpret all CT, MRI and Ultrasound studies.

 

He is also the only qualified interventional neuroradiologist in the north state, treating patients who need a variety of procedures, including brain aneurysm therapy, carotid stents, therapy of cerebral vascular malformations, tumor blood supply reduction, vertebroplasty, and even treatment of severe nosebleeds.

 

Many of the procedures Dr. Hecht performs were previously unavailable in the north state.

 

Dr. Hecht strongly believes that he and his staff must tend to each patient’s emotional needs for comfort and individual care while providing cutting edge, state-of-the-art technological services.

How long will it take to receive my results?

24 to 48 office hours

How can you help me with claustrophobia?

There are many exams we can put patients in feet first. We have headphones to listen to music to aid in distracting the mind. We also supply sedation, only if patient has a driver.

What type of scans can be done at your facility?

We have a CT, 3T MRI and Ultrasound. We can image any anatomy.

What do I bring with me to my appointment?

Please bring the following insurance information:

  • Your insurance card including your ID number and group number and
  • Your drivers license or ID. We will make a photo copy of both.
  • Please bring any outside films that might pertain to the scan being done. This will help the Radiologist in reading your scan.

Do I have to pay at the time of the service?

We would appreciate payment at time of service. However, we understand that at times this can be difficult. Our billing office can help you make payment arrangements.

Can I send results to more than one Physician?

Yes.

Can I receive copies of my report?

Yes
